Our Goal

Can an idea change the world?

With beautiful people, a unique language, vibrant wildlife, four distinct seasons and locations, locations, locations(!), Finland has been relatively unexplored on-screen.

We aim to change that.

We plan to make Finland a major player on the international stage - to show people,  this  is the country you never even knew you most wanted to visit!
Our goal is not just to export Finnish content all around the world, but also to bring foreign productions to Finland, gifting them with gorgeous backdrops and professional crews at a competitive rate.

We don't know if we can change the world, but we're working on making Finland a much more desired-after, economical juggernaut of a nation with a production powerhouse that's the envy of Europe.

Our Method

When producers take projects to market to find funding, they normally attach a "star", as this is, partly, how the marketability of a production is estimated.
A-listers would have the world believe that, when talking about a film or series, audiences ask,  "Who's in it?"
In reality, they ask,  "What's it about?"

We believe that concept is king.
We aim to establish ourselves by the reputation of producing high quality content, so that, when  Manqué  is mentioned, there's already marketability.
Our strategy is to discover and nurture talent, to release a steady flow of kick-arse genre projects and low-key, quirky originals to cover all tastes.

We're not here to rival Hollywood, we're here to do our own thing, stretching every euro so that audiences marvel at what we do with our "tiny" budgets!
But this is  show business -  not,  show art!
So although we're in business, we're also here to  entertain.   You won't get any agendas or pretentious crap from us, just solid entertainment.

"There are two kinds of people in this world: those who think, I can't,  and those who think,  I can!"

Carl is a British expat' who came to Finland in his mid-twenties... and has been here ever since!
Hailing from the low-income area of, The London Borough of Barking, Essex, growing up, he naturally assumed that crime and violence were just a part of normal life... it also took him years to get over the disabling mindset of, [substitute in major city here] London being the centre of the world, which saw almost everyone he knew smoke hope away in a "spliff" or strive to become a wage-slave in jobs they hated, sucking up to The Man, to be able to afford a place not shared with their parents!
He came from the Empire on Which the Sun Never Set,  yet realised that his limited horizon also limited his mind.  And so, off he went into the world, exploring vast horizons, where he learned that, despite all of our superficial differences, people are fundamentally the same:  they all want to peacefully go about their lives, find love and happiness... and to be entertained.

Carl also feels pretty uncomfortable being in photographs.

Proudly based in
Vantaa...

The home of "Helsinki" airport.

But did you know that Helsinki airport was opened for when Finland hosted the Olympics, in 1952, while the city of Vantaa celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2024?
Yes, that means that the airport existed long before the city did!

Either way, we're close to Finland's largest international traffic centre.
